Club South Runners, organized in 1977 in Baton Rouge, LA, is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is the promotion and encouragement of running for physical fitness and sport. The membership is comprised of men, women, and children of all ages, shapes, and sizes, representing a wide range of running experience. CSR sponsored events range from road races, fun runs, fitness clinics, and social events, to cross country runs and track meets. Proceeds from CSR races and membership fees are put back into the club, and volunteers do all club promotion and race management, and run the club’s internal affairs. It is only with the tremendous efforts of volunteers and running enthusiasts that these races become a reality in our community.
Gain the support of a volunteer community group that promotes and encourages running as a vehicle to fitness for individuals of all ages and abilities.
